Veterinarian

Dr. Parmod Ralh

Dr. Parmod Ralh is a dedicated veterinarian with passion for animals and experience of 12 years in this field. He completed his Bachelor’s in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (Bvsc&AH) at Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana, India, in 2003, and earned his Master’s in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology in 2005 from the same institution.

A passionate advocate for animal welfare, Dr. Ralh has participated in numerous social events focused on pet welfare in India. Driven by his commitment to veterinary medicine, he pursued further education in Canada and obtained his veterinary license in 2018.

Since then, Dr. Ralh has worked at Central City Animal Hospital in Burnaby till 2023. He is now the proud owner of both Cypress Street Animal Hospital and University Veterinary Clinic in Vancouver, where he provides exceptional care and services to pets and their families.

Veterinarian

Dr. John Clark

Dr Clark graduated from Weastern College in 1991 following a short career as a Marine Biologist.
Vegan for 9+ years he lives low consumption lifestyle out of deference for the ‘right to life’ of the remaining wild animals on this planet, in addition to trying to minimze his impact on the planet he is leaving his children Ella and Jack.
“I am happy to now have 2 local locations(Cypress Animal Hospital and University Veterinary Clinic) for all my previous clients/friends who have followed me since I sold my postion as: President, Lead Surgeon, and Major Shareholder of Granville Island Veterinary hosp. years ago.
The staff are highly compassionate and I have the benefit of having support techs who are fully trained Veterinarians just not licensed in Canada. They are highly competent, gentle, and efficient.
At present I am working part-time 3-4 days/wk, but for my clients both clinics are open 7 days a week which is wonderful in terms of access, and minimizing costly visits to Emergency Clinics at least during regular business hours-including Sundays.
Operationally it is great to have prompt, often same day, Ultrasound availability–This I have not previously had.”

Bhawna brings over 7 years of experience in customer care and a strong background in veterinary clinic management to her role as Clinic Manager. With a Master’s degree in Business Management, she combines professional expertise with a genuine passion for animals and client service.
She is known for her warm personality, strong organizational skills, and dedication to ensuring both clients and their pets feel welcome and cared for. She thrives on meeting new people and creating a smooth, supportive environment for both staff and visitors.
Her love for animals is evident in every part of her day—especially when spending time with Peaches and Jinx, the clinic’s beloved cats.
When she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys relaxing at home with her family and pets—her perfect way to recharge and stay connected to what matters most.

Vanessa ‎

Enthusiastic animal care professional who brings with her 6+ years of experience in managing various responsibilities in a fast -paced clinic.Takes on multiple simultaneous tasks with excellent time management abilities and resourceful approach. . Organized and self-motivated. She has a little animal kingdom with 11 animals at home and loves spending time with them. She loves adventures and loves to go hiking.

Account Manager

Pooja

Pooja serves as Accounts Manager and event coordinator at our clinic. A graduate from India, she brings a sharp eye for detail and a calm, steady approach to managing the clinic’s finances and day-to-day operations.
Beyond the numbers, Pooja plays an active role in keeping the clinic running smoothly and supporting the team behind the scenes.

Veterinary Technician

Puneet Bajaj

Puneet is a dedicated veterinary professional with over 7 years of experience in the field, including 6 years of hands-on experience in Canada. Originally a Veterinarian from India, he brings a deep understanding of animal health and a calm, confident approach to every patient he sees.
Currently working toward his veterinary license in Canada, Puneet serves as our Veterinary Technician, where his expertise and compassion shine through in every aspect of care. His commitment to animal wellbeing and his teamwork with both clients and colleagues make him a vital part of our clinic.
For Puneet, pets aren’t just patients—they’re lifelong friends. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find him spending time with animals, learning, and continuing to grow in his profession.

Vet Technician

Vinav Bajaj

Vinav is a passionate Veterinary Technician who has been treating all species of pets for more than 12 years. He brings in the expertise of comfortable assisting with medical procedures and treatments and has been performing surgeries individually as a veterinarian in India. He loves spending time and playing with Oscar.

Veterinary Assistant

Jaisveen Kataria

Jaisveen—known around the clinic as Jass—is our go-to team player who brings energy, positivity, and a big heart for animals to everything he does. As a Veterinary Assistant, he is always ready to lend a helping hand wherever needed.
He’s passionate about pets (especially calling them his “buddies”) and is often found playing with our clinic cats or making sure every furry visitor feels at home. With a fun-loving personality and a calm presence, he keeps both pets and people smiling.
Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find him on two wheels—he loves riding his bike and enjoying the open road.

Prabhjot is a caring and dedicated Clinic Administrator who brings warmth and efficiency to our team. Her love for animals is at the heart of everything she does, and she truly enjoys working around pets each day.
From keeping things organized to supporting both staff and clients, Prabhjot helps ensure the clinic runs smoothly. Her calm presence and passion for animal care make her an essential part of our clinic family.
